photo Lajos FarkasHe was born in 1963. He graduated with a degree in sculpture from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 1989. For years he mainly created caricature portraits. He designed and modelled characters for the Hungarian series Uborka, based on the English TV show Spitting Image. His caricature portraits of popular and lesser-known politicians and actors appeared in a variety of satirical papers. He later continued his work in the advertising and film industries where he was responsible for creating illustrations and storyboards. He worked in productions such as Underworld directed by Len Wiseman, or The Lion in Winter directed by Andrei Konchalovsky. Comics have fascinated him since his childhood; however, the opportunity to work in this field only arose much later in his life. He first worked together with Attila Futaki on comics such as Percy Jackson and Severed. He later started working independently; so far, he has five comics published by the French Soleil and Delcourt Publishers. Rédemption I-II. were published in 2014 and 2015 respectively, while two of his works appeared in the Jour J series: La Ballade des pendus in 2016 and Le Dieu vert in 2018. His most recent piece, L’Homme de l’année 15. 1440 was published in 2019.
